A truer reflection

Welcome Family Holiday Park is one of our oldest clients and one we have formed a very special relationship with. Located a stone’s throw away from picturesque Dawlish Warren in Devon, Welcome first approached us in 2008.

It soon became clear that the success of the park was due to the management’s solid understanding of their customers and what motivated them. It became clear that by transforming the Welcome brand into a more accurate representation of the park, presenting them as the exciting and contemporary destination their customers knew them to be, there was a big growth opportunity for the park to seize.

Reverence to the brand

When a business entrusts us with their brand, the enormity of that gesture is never taken for granted - reworking any part of an existing brand is only contemplated when absolutely necessary. The benefits of re-positioning Welcome Family Holiday Park were substantial, with both immediate and long-term returns for the business.

Welcome reimagined

Showing deference to its origins, the refreshed mark has been stripped of any unnecessary detail and reflects the company motto, "where the fun always shines".

Amplifying the fun

One of Welcome’s core tenets is a strong emphasis on fun – it runs through everything they do. They know this is the magic ingredient that keeps 2 out of 3 families returning each year, and so our task was to amplify this principle throughout the brand.

Our answer was to create an endearingly hectic, fun-loving family of animals who invite chaos and calamity at every turn. You can follow the antics of these dysfunctional characters throughout the collateral; you may even spot Whizzy, Dizzy, Myrtle and Doug wandering around the park!

We have used Thinkology for many years, and go to them for all our branding & design needs throughout our Holiday Park.
